# Platform overview

> Understand the Infrawatch data platform and choose the right product

Infrawatch maintains the most complete public map of the internet: more than
400 million services revisited every day, broader protocol coverage than
web-first internet search, and first-party observations connected to DNS,
network, fingerprint, proxy, exposed-content, and report context.

With Infrawatch, you can:

* **Discover exposed infrastructure** - Search hosts, services, protocols,
  certificates, HTTP responses, fingerprints, and network ownership.
* **Trace DNS relationships over time** - Pivot between names and addresses
  using first-seen and last-seen observations.
* **Identify proxy and VPN infrastructure** - Add provider, network, and
  service context to residential proxy and VPN endpoints.
* **Connect indicators to reporting** - Find published intelligence and extract
  the indicators associated with each report.
* **Investigate exposed directories** - Explore indexed directory structures,
  file metadata, classifications, and collected content where available.

## One query language

InfraQL gives the searchable datasets a common query model. Use boolean logic,
typed comparisons, time windows, collections, patterns, and dataset-aware
correlation without exposing backend query syntax.

```text theme={null}
services.tags.category:proxy/*
AND country_code:DE
AND same_service(protocol:https AND http.title="Grafana")
```

This asks a cross-dataset question: find German infrastructure classified as a
proxy where the same observed service is HTTPS and hosts Grafana. From a result,
continue into passive DNS, fingerprints, reports, or exposed content without
losing the original evidence.
