Infrawatch conducts internet measurement and security research to help improve understanding of publicly accessible internet infrastructure. We design our scanning and collection systems to minimise impact on third-party networks and services. We do not intentionally attempt to exploit vulnerabilities, bypass authentication, brute-force access, deny service, or access non-public data. Our activity is limited to observing and identifying publicly exposed services and internet-facing infrastructure. If you would like your public-facing IP ranges, hosts, or domains excluded from Infrawatch scanning where reasonably possible, please contact opt-out@infrawatch.com with the relevant details, including:
  • IP address, CIDR range, ASN, or domain
  • Organisation name
  • A contact email address
  • Any supporting context
We review reasonable opt-out requests and abuse reports as quickly as possible. Our research helps internet users understand the public internet, primarily for security research purposes.

Abuse

It is not expected that Infrawatch infrastructure will engage in abusive activity. However, if you believe an Infrawatch host is causing harm, generating excessive traffic, or operating unexpectedly, please contact abuse@infrawatch.com with logs, timestamps, source IPs, and any other relevant information so we can investigate.

Research Purpose

Our research is intended to support security research, internet measurement, and improved understanding of the public internet.
